Concept and Research
We establish with each client the purpose and role of each garment and the stresses and strains each type of uniform will undergo. Operational requirements as well as climate and laundry conditions are considered, including movement range required as well as any specialist accessories and details. A brief is then agreed for each uniform.
Design
With over 50 years of in-house design experience, we create exclusive uniform designs initially on paper, offering a selection of styles for each uniform category, as well as fabric and colour options for each style. The matrix we offer usually suggests 12 options for each uniform for the client to choose from.
Sample Creation
We then proceed to make sample garment prototypes. This includes the development of the style chosen in the colour and fabric selected, and the production of exclusive patterns by our in house team, to fit local body shapes. The client is able to see how the uniforms will actually look in their own surroundings, with Fashionizer making adjustments, or further samples as necessary before samples are signed off for production.
Garment Specification and Development
Our garment construction expertise includes pattern cutting; the creation of first blocks to fit different body shapes and cultural requirements, and pattern grading adapted to specific sizing standards. We are also able to design, create, weave and dye new fabrics. We use only high quality natural fibres and include innovative finishing technology to achieve high standards of performance and comfort.
Fabric Testing

Wearer Trials
This process involves the wearing of sample prototypes by a selection of staff from different departments and areas wearing the garments in their intended settings. This ensures that every element is fit for purpose.
Measuring and Made to Measure
As part of our bespoke service we will personally come to your premises and measure your employees for their new uniforms to ensure an excellent final fit. We also offer a ‘made to measure’ service for those staff who fall outside standard sizes.
Manufacturing
We manufacture garments to high standards within short lead times, in Europe. Our manufacturers all comply with our quality control standards and can demonstrate ethical and environmental trading standards. More »
New Uniform Launch
Garments are personally quality checked before being packed into personalised uniform packs for each employee and delivered to each location as appropriate.
Ongoing Contract Management
It doesn’t end there! As many of our customers will tell you, we provide a very comprehensive and personal service and that doesn’t stop when we deliver the uniforms. We are always available to help with any queries and to resolve any challenges that may arise with the implementation of a new uniform programme.

Additional Account Services
