– Debbie Leon wins the uniform design contract for the ANA Grand Hotel Vienna, sourcing all fabric and working with local suppliers to successfully introduce uniforms for their opening in 1994.

– Debbie is contacted by the Zum Storchen Hotel Zurich, who have seen the Vienna and Simtek Grand Prix Uniforms, and with two contracts on board, Fashionizer is born! Its mission – to deliver high quality and innovative uniforms.

– Debbie employs her first full time member of staff. Further hospitality and promotional contracts follow from all over Europe.

– A full time Production Manager joins to develop higher standards of quality and consistency for uniforms. Its expertise in the hospitality sector develops, where it now has a "who´s who" client list.

– Fashionizer continues to enlarge its team with the addition of technical expertise and an in-house computerised pattern cutting system. This enables the shortening of pattern cutting lead times and provides more flexibility in styles and fit.

– Fashionizer introduces The DeZign Range concept with over 150 varied styles, which can be personalised with the client´s choice of fabric, colour and trim. See Fashionizer´s DZ Range »

– Fashionizer receives much acclaim for its uniform makeover for the Food and Beverage department of the newly refurbished Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London » Enquiries follow from clients as far afield as Oman and the US.

– September 11th. The UK hospitality sector is badly hit and uniform orders virtually vanish. Diversifying to Debbie´s costume design roots, James Bond comes to the rescue when Fashionizer produces outfits for "Die another Day" » This is followed by costume work on the Jackie Chan movie "Shanghai Knights." The company survives this difficult period without needing to reduce its workforce.

– The hospitality industry slowly recovers from the events of a very challenging 2001 and Fashionizer embarks on a variety of new design projects including The Merrion Dublin, Palm Beach in the Canary Islands and The Wolseley, Piccadilly. Hospitality Uniforms Portfolio »

– Larger orders and a growing customer base means a move to bigger, smarter premises in Chiswick, West London and the recruitment of additional staff.

A fully integrated software system is introduced to co–ordinate and manage the uniform production process from customer orders through to garment specification, managing the stock inventory, production and delivery.
With the unfortunate demise of UK manufacturing, Fashionizer begins the process of transferring uniform production to selected factories in Europe. Fashionizer´s Ethical Standards »

TheBuZiness » concept is launched offering luxury, ready to wear hotel uniforms for those requiring quality garments immediately and at a moderate price.
Fashionizer starts working with QHotels; creating a unique brand identity for the company and a uniform programme tailored to their expansion plans. The contract has been extremely successful and Fashionizer delivers 20,000 uniforms to 22 4* luxury hotels. QHotels Uniform Project »

– 95% of Fashionizer production is now in Europe and we focus on increasing capacity and the implementation of consistent quality standards in manufacture across all our factories. We further increase our in–house pattern cutting team to meet heightened demand for our made to measure garments and staff measuring service.

– Fashionizer wins an award for "Best Contract" in the Company Clothing Industry Awards to recognise its sterling work with the QHotels Group. Company Clothing Industry Awards »

Fashionizer delivers a record number of projects involving many new hospitality openings. Most include full measuring of all staff and delivery of individually packed uniforms – to a total of 1500 wearers across seven UK hotels and restaurants and five hotels in Ireland.

– Fashionizer restructures and enlarges its sales and marketing team to handle greater demand. This includes the launch of this new website with improved layout, more focus on our customers and a new interactive colour design feature for the DeZign Range.

– Fashionizer launches a unique collection of spa uniforms>> and simultaneously becomes the UK´s only natural fibre and organic cotton spa uniform supplier. This follows 18 months of specialist fabric development with its Cotton Performance fabric, which begins to be recognised by the spa and beauty industry for its novel use of natural fibres to make spa therapists more comfortable in cool, breathable cotton.

Westfield London Shopping Centre » becomes Fashionizer´s newest client and the first to receive a dedicated re–order website both for managers and its 350 employees.

– Fashionizer completes its move to its new, enlarged offices in nearby Brentford, which includes warehouse space to store customers´ garments and fabrics.

– Fashionizer Spa continues to grow, and we develop male spa uniforms as well new colours and styles. We also deliver around 1000 garments to London's prestigious ladies-only day spa, The Sanctuary, Covent Garden.

/10 – A shaky time for the economy has meant less investment in new 5 star hotels, and this time we find new projects outside of hospitality - in the shape of Kurt Geiger and the Royal Shakespeare Company, (RSC) - keeping Fashionizer as busy as ever.

– With the growing success of its unique Cotton Performance Fabric (CPF) and increasing demand for cotton spa uniforms from across the Atlantic, Fashionizer Spa Uniforms LLC is born.

– This time we're also expanding - although in the opposite direction - with a huge Food & Beverage uniform project for The InterContinental, Beirut.

– This time we're also expanding - although in the opposite direction - with a huge Food & Beverage uniform project for The Phoenicia InterContinental Hotel in Beirut.
