Texture, colour, feel and fit need to blend in with the smart, traditional, yet informal feel of the property. Comfort, adaptability to a changeable climate and suitability to the job function were to be key criteria for the uniforms.

Staff were kitted out in all areas of the property including the Management, Pro Golf Shop, Public House, Front Of House, and uniforms for both the day and evening for the Lodge Staff.
Traditional tweed
A traditional tweed fabric was woven in colours matching the property, corporate colours and overall image. A fusion of modern and classic styling was used, ensuring these were in keeping with etiquette and styles appropriate for a golf resort. Button-down shirts, blouson waistcoats, wide leg trousers were offered for most Food & Beverage staff with a 3 button jacket for management. Accommodation staff were provided with a quilted jacket for outdoor wear. Specially designed tie fabric was produced which incorporates the Doonbeg logo and brand colours.
Stock Management
Fashionizer created a uniform programme suited to a business that is in essence, seasonal. Doonbeg holds a reasonable level of stock that won’t create major storage problems, but at the same time enable them to manage uniforms throughout the busy summer season without the need to re-order. At the end of the season, uniforms are checked and those that can be recycled are cleaned and returned to stock. A supplemental reorder is generated at the end of the year, with the stock replenishment arriving in March ready for the next year’s recruitment.
