B2B SALES/ADMIN SUPPORT ROLE

We are looking to recruit a new employee to our sales and account management team. This is an interesting and demanding role in creative environment with international reach. The ideal candidate will need to be able to multitask, work independently and focus on a number of projects, with plenty of daily challenges. Established in 1993 and based in Acton in West London Fashionizer provides unique bespoke uniforms, for Luxury Brands, 5 star Hotels, Resorts and Spas across the world.

This position will suit someone looking for an unconventional role in an exciting and dynamic company. We will expect the person to be organised, hardworking and be able to apply common sense to the tasks. 

The roles supports our account management, sales and marketing teams, researching new opportunities and how best to target them. It Involves both proactive and reactive vetting of potential customers and being the first point of call for incoming customer inquiries. No cold calling involved!

The candidate will need to demonstrate:

 The role includes:

  • Market research to identify new prospects and markets for both Fashionizer and Fashionizer Spa.
  • Processing and packing online orders and issuing invoices.
  • Logistics and export documentation.
  • Daily contact and support to customers via phone & email
  • Working on mail outs and proactive selling materials.
  • Updating CRM software
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Regular reporting and analysis of sales activities and ROI
  • Events planning and attendance including some international travel.
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Processing returns and refunds
  • Ordering collateral and supporting sales activities
  • Or any other activities to support account management

PATTERN CUTTER – MATERNITY COVER

Creative Pattern Cutter to cover the maternity leave of our pattern cutter for 12-14 months.

We are looking for an experienced Creative Pattern Cutter, who has at least 5 years’ experience working in Luxury Fashion with good tailoring knowledge. The role is an interesting and stimulating pattern cutting role with plenty of variety and technical challenges.

The role will include:

  • The interpretation of designs into wearable garments.
  • Working within an agreed critical path on multiple patterns for each collection
  • Attending fit sessions and ensuring accurate implementation of comments into patterns following fit sessions.
  • Liaising with designers and sample machinists during the sampling process to achieve the best results. 
  • Creating final production patterns ensuring patterns and lay plans are made cost-effectively. 
  • Responsibility for the e-mailing of patterns and manufacturing specifications to factories & for maintaining accurate records of all information distributed.

Candidates applying for this role should have:

  • A passion to create great garments.
  • A relevant qualification gained from a recognised institute.
  • Ability to develop first patterns from designs illustrations. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of structured garment construction and tailored garments.
  • Varied pattern cutting experience with woven fabrics.
  • Industry experience working with external production factories.
  • Commercial awareness with regards to cost effective manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAD systems (such as Gerber, Lectra etc.)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft programmes Excel and Outlook.
  • Basic grading knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure to set deadlines.
  • Familiarity of working with a garment technologist to ensure consistency in technical specifications packs for factories
  • A self-motivated person with good communication skills, happy to engage with the others and working as part of the design team including our in-house workroom.
  • Illustrator and Photoshop advantageous.
  • Good communication skills are essential for this role as is the ability to pay attention to detail.

PAID FASHION MARKETING & PR INTERNSHIP

This placement is for a minimum of 6 months starting in Mid-June. Opportunity for a Fashion Marketing graduate looking for a varied and interesting B2B marketing communications experience with plenty of digital marketing tasks. We are looking for a bright, articulate and creative candidate happy to have their own projects to progress. This role will dramatically increase the chosen candidate’s knowledge of international marketing, websites, and PR promotion.

Tasks will include:

  • Editing of visual information for our websites
  • Providing ideas and executing the company’s social media activities ongoing
  • Email marketing: preparing and sending newsletters
  • Competitor research, drafting case studies and reports  
  • Assistance with visual artwork, photoshoots & catalogue production
  • Maintaining marketing documents and filing (digital and physical)
  • Researching and managing PR calendar throughout the year
  • PR assistance: Press Release, distribution and follow up
  • Assisting the design and production teams when busy
  • Assisting the production and sewing teams with customer presentations

The skills we are looking for:

You must have good software skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, some knowledge of digital marketing and social media and an interest in fashion, travel and culture generally.

You will need to be self-motivated, able to work independently and manage your own time well. We don’t have all the answers – you should be open to learning on the job and trying out new ideas.

You will need to enjoy working under pressure to hit deadlines in a busy team and a demanding and creative environment where no day is the same. We are a small company – and work as a team, you may be asked to help in other departments from time to time. We are looking for a team player who is happy to muck in.

You will need an outgoing personality, excellent literacy skills with a high standard of written & spoken English. Confidence in all Microsoft Office packages.

You will need to be happy to carry out market research thoroughly and be able to present it succinctly in PowerPoint format.

Only candidates who can demonstrate the following will be considered:

  • Articulate, with English mother tongue
  • A Fashion Marketing, or PR degree
  • Intermediate level of Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications
  • An established interest in fashion, clothing and textiles
  • Good writing skills

Role:

You will develop an understanding of how sales and marketing work together. By the end of the placement, you will have a clear idea of what marketing activities work for a B2B business and why, and how to measure the effectiveness marketing activities. Over the period, you may also have the opportunity to go attend various marketing seminars which will increase your industry knowledge.
