No 1 Traveller offers the equivalent of VIP airport lounges for a one-off fee at four UK airports. The company invited Fashionizer to create a simple, effective garment collection inspired by airline uniforms. In addition, the uniforms needed to fit in with other aspects of the company’s branding. Finally, the designs had to work within the unique operational requirements of an airport lounge.
Working closely alongside the No 1 Traveller marketing team, we created a mix-and-match uniform collection. The aim was to reflect No 1 Traveller’s brand colours of warm grey with accents of bright green and purple. One of the biggest challenges was ensuring consistency, so that the branded colours worked across all fabric textures and printed fabrics.
Fashionizer worked with No 1 Traveller on the initial launch of the uniforms. We then supported the bespoke uniform programme for a further four years. This included stock holding, alterations, forecasting and distribution. Eventually the company grew significantly with the result that their stock volumes were sufficient to create their own on-site uniform store.
“Having successfully completed one uniform launch with Fashionizer, I had complete confidence in their abilities to do it again when we decided to rebrand our company two years later. Their ability to pay attention to detail in the design tailored management service, providing forecasting and cost advice makes Fashionizer the ideal partner in No 1 Traveller’s on-going expansion in the UK market.” Phil Cameron CEO, No 1 Traveller.
